The thing I love most about community is the really amazing and talented artists I have the privilege to hang out with and call friends. People I admire and am inspired by.
I am a founding member of IPSARI Inc. (the Ipswich Artist Run Initiative). A team of dedicated professionals with whom I facilitate events and opportunities for local artists. Together we advocate for the arts in Ipswich. To see what we are up to and find out about upcoming events follow us on Instagram HERE, Facebook HERE.
When I started working with IPSARI I quickly realised that I would need some help to hone my public speaking skills. I wear my heart on my sleeve and my passion can occasionally mean my message is hidden behind emotions. I joined Bremer Forum to learn how to be a confident speaker and became a member of a really supportive group. If you want to know know more about Forum and how a speaking group can help you check out the website HERE.
My work is very experimental. I enjoy working with many different mediums. My administration and arts sector experience has lead me to take on a role with Ceramic Arts Queensland. To see what CAQ is doing and to become a member have a look at the website HERE.
And finally, if you love my profile photos (as much as I do) you really must talk to the talented Amanda Waschevski. Amanda has a special way of making you feel comfortable being yourself in front of the camera. Her website proves she also possesses the unmistakeable eye of an artist HERE.
